World MasterCard Fashion Week Toronto : SS15

Another season of World Master Card Fashion has come and gone showcasing a some of Canada’s best designers. We have made an edited selection of our favourite Spring Summer 2015 looks.

SID NEIGUM

Relative newcomer, Alberta-born Sid Neigum impressed with subtly complex and free- flowing styles and a calm, muted colour palette. Though sleek and understated for the most part, the collection spoke volumes whether it was the beautiful drape, structured form or effortless layers.

CAITLIN POWER
Caitlin represented the power woman like only she can, this time in easy-breezy pieces perfect for that forever-sought-after “day to evening” look. Sharp lines, clever colour blocking and a fierce overall disposition is something Caitlin does extremely well.

MAISON MATTHEW GALLAGHER
Also proving the old “If It Ain’t Broke…” adage to be true, Matthew impressed once again with a saccharine yet sexy collection. With a clearly great eye on what sets a young girl’s heart a-flutter, Matthew presented a slew of flirty little numbers perfect for the Belle of any ball.

MIKHAEL KALE
Having studied in London and worked in Milan, Mikhael Kale is no newcomer to the scene and has in fact a pretty impressive resume under his belt. His collection was a true ode to the female silhouette with hints of that trendy 90s appeal that we’ve all grown to love over the past year. Whether figure-baring, architectural or just plain avante-garde, each look played up a different aspect of female sensibility.
