KA Loves: HELMUT NEWTON!!! Think of KA as your source of all things sexy! Someone who did this incredibly well was German photographer Helmut Newton, who’s images transcend the ordinary into a world of pure artistic freedom; no limits, no guidelines; making some of the most provocative images into distilled art. Over his incredible career, he produced a vast collection of polaroids, then used to “test his shots” before shooting on film. Recently TASCHEN publisher asked his wife June Newton to select 300 of her favorite polaroids from her late husband’s collection, to be featured at the exhibition “Helmut Newton Polaroids” in the Museum für Fotografie in Berlin- also available in a hard cover book.
